The students will be introduced to online databases. In January, the students will be using these databases as they research a president. This research will be used to meet one of the student Patriot Program requirements. These databases are free to all HCPS students, parents, and staff. The students will receive a handout containing the passwords of the databases so they can use these databases at home. The databases are SIRS (search engines), Grolier and World Book (encyclopedias), and Culture Grams (cultural information on the countries around the world).
